Questions about Lacloche will be asked, with answers that can be found on all our online learning materials of “Lacloche, Parisian Jewelers, 1892 – 1967” on the exhibition webpage and L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific’s Instagram and Facebook. By choosing the correct answers on your device as quick as possible, you may become the top 8 winners!

The 8 participants who answer the most questions correctly in the shortest time will win a Gift Certificate for 2 people, to attend a complimentary jewelry class of their choice at L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. In addition, the top 3 winners among these participants will obtain a dining voucher of HK$4,000 at a designated restaurant @ K11 MUSEA for a prestigious dining experience.

1. The Lacloche LIVE! Online Quiz is organized by L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific, a branch of Richemont Academy Asia Pacific Limited (the “Organizer”) on a dedicated Zoom Webinar on April 28, 2022, at 7pm (Hong Kong time) in real time.
2. The participation to the Quiz is free of charges, without any purchase obligation of any nature.
3. The present terms & conditions define the rules applicable to the participation to the Quiz as well as its modalities, and will be available for the whole duration of the campaign on this webpage.
4. To join the Quiz, the participant must have two separate devices (i.e. smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) with one connecting to the Zoom Webinar of the Quiz, the other one connecting to the Slido platform where the Quiz is hosted.
5. Anyone with access to the Zoom Webinar and the Slido Quiz platform on the aforementioned date and time can join the Quiz in real time. Registration to the Zoom Webinar is required, while no application is needed to participate in the Quiz.
6. To participate in the Quiz, the participant must accept the policy of the quiz platform Slido.
7. The Zoom webinar will be hosted in Cantonese with English simultaneous translation. All questions and multiple-choice answers will be shown on Slido in two languages: Traditional Chinese and English.
8. Participants will be ranked by Slido according to the accuracy of theirs answers as well as the duration needed to submit their answers. The participants submitting the most correct answers in the shortest time will be ranked the highest, so on and so forth. The top 8 participants ranked are considered winners of the Quiz.
9. Results of the top 8 participants will be announced at the end of the Quiz on the Zoom Webinar on the same date together with details of prize collection. The 8 winning participants must take a screenshot of the unique winning webpage generated by Slido showing the participant’s name and rank for identification purpose. An email with this proof must be sent to hk.lecole@vancleefarpels.com for prize collection arrangement thereafter.
10. Each winner will receive one Gift Certificate for two persons for one L’ÉCOLE class of his/her choice, redeemable at L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific in Hong Kong by December 31st, 2022.
11. Each of the top 3 winners will receive in addition one dining voucher valued at HK$4,000 at a designated restaurant in K11 MUSEA, with the validity and details indicated on the voucher.
12. Prizes are not transferable, non-exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
13. Staff of the Organizer, the Organizer’s affiliates and partners (including staff from L’ÉCOLE, Van Cleef & Arpels, all Richemont Maisons and Richemont Group), as well as their immediate family members are welcome to participate the Quiz but their results will not be counted and are not entitled to any gift.
14. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any participant to the Quiz in the event where a same participant enroll the Quiz twice or more, or provide false, incomplete or misleading information, or tried to commit a fraud to the Organizer. The Organizer shall be entitled to verify the participant’s identity at any time.
15. In the event where the participant fails to claim the prizes from the Organizer within 3-month after the date of the Quiz, or the notice of prize as notified by the Organizer, the prize shall be forfeited and no cash or substitutes will be provided in whole or in part to the winner. The unclaimed prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in accordance with the final ranking upon sole discretion of the Organizer.
16. The non-acceptance of the prize by the winners, for any reason whatsoever, shall not trigger any financial compensation or other obligation and/or liability from the part of the Organizer. The prizes are allocated by the Organizer at its sole and absolute discretion and shall not be allocated in the event where the winner has committed or believed to have committed from irregular acts, or in the event where its participation is not in compliant with the present Rules, Terms & Conditions. For prize redemption purposes, the Organizer shall be entitled to verify the identities of the winner and, for redemption of the Gift Certificate, the guest that the winner has invited to join the complimentary jewelry class at any time. Upon the Organizer’s request, the winner and the guest shall provide relevant information for such identification purposes.
17. The Organizer reserves all rights to substitute, at any time, the proposed prizes with other prizes of a similar nature which may be granted on such terms as the Organizer deems appropriate in the circumstances, notwithstanding any limitations on prizes contained in the Quiz.
18. Participation to the Quiz implies the acceptance, without limitation, of the present rules, terms & conditions, as well as the Organizer’s sole decisions, which are final and conclusive. The participants agree to indemnify and release the Organizer, its affiliated companies of the Richemont Group, their suppliers, their partners, as well as their representatives or employees, of any liability, claims or damages resulting directly or indirectly from the Quiz.
19. Participation to the Quiz implies the acceptance by the participants of the technical contingencies related to the use and internet connection. The Organizer and/or its affiliated companies shall not be held liable whatsoever for any dysfunction that may affect the Internet network or that may hinder the access to the Quiz.
20. The Organizer makes no express or implied representations or warranties with respect to the website on which the Quiz is accessible operates that:

• there will be no interruption or that it does not entail any IT errors of any nature, or that any defects will be corrected;
• the servers which give access to the Quiz and/or the websites through such hyperlinks do not entail any virus or other components or IT softwares of any nature likely to cause any damage to the goods

21. The Organizer shall not be held liable or responsible whatsoever for:

• Any incorrect or incomplete information, whether given by the participants or due to technical errors;
• Technical deficiencies of any nature, including, without limitation, dysfunction, interruptions or disconnection from the telephone lines or of the network material or software;
• Any unauthorized human intervention in any part of the registration process or in the Quiz;
• Any technical issue or any human error that may occur in the management of the Quiz or in the registrations treatment;
• Any late, lost, non-delivered, damaged or stolen mail;
• Any injury or any damage to the goods that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in full or in part, by the participation to the Quiz or by the receipt, the use or wrong use of the prize.

22. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend, or cancel, in part of in whole the Quiz, without any advance notice, in the event of any event beyond its reasonable control, notably without limitation in the event of force majeure.

23. The personal data (including name and email address) the Organizer collects from you through third party platforms will be used for the purposes of administrating the campaign and contacting winners for collection of prizes upon completion of the Quiz only. If you are awarded the Gift Certificate, the Organizer will also collect personal data (including name and email address) from the guest that you have invited to join the complimentary jewelry class for the purpose of collection of prize only. In this connection, please only provide the information of your friend or family you know would be happy to join the jewelry class. You hereby warrant that the guest has consented to the disclosure of his/her information to the Organizer and for the Organizer to contact him/her regarding redemption of the prizes. The aforementioned personal data will be deleted after the purposes are achieved. Where consent is given by you and/or the guest, the Organizer may also use the collected personal data for direct marketing purposes.  Any submission of personal data to the Organizer is purely voluntary and made at your sole discretion. In particular, you can ask the Organizer to stop sending you marketing at any time. The Organizer will endeavor to keep your personal data safe and be responsible when collecting the data. For further information regarding how the Organizer protects and processes your personal data, please refer to the Organizer’s privacy policy.

24. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, Terms & Conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Quiz, and unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory law, the Participant accepts that all claims and disputes in relation to the Quiz or the attributed prize shall be individually resolved, any class action being excluded. The Organizer’s decision shall be final and conclusive. Any dispute or claim in relation to this Quiz shall not be taken into consideration beyond June 30, 2022. Any claim and/or dispute shall be resolved by the Organizer in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, China.
