L'Ecole offers a regularly scheduled program of Evening conversations, from 8pm to 10pm. These evenings give 35 people the chance to learn from and share with two experts on a particular topic.
The next Evening Conversation will be held in Paris on Thursday, June 16 and will be about The taste of Marie-Antoinette: Fashion, Jewelry and precious Furniture.
Fashion queen with the most beautiful jewels, Marie-Antoinette remains one the characters who fascinated historians of the past and the present. Let’s understand her passion for jewelry, but also her personal taste, in the context of a reign when her commissions and choices created her nickname “Madam Deficit” at the dawn of the French Revolution.
The Evening Conversation will be hosted by Béatrice Vingtrinier, Art Historian, museums lecturer and professor at L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels and by Gislain Aucremanne, Art Historian, graduate from the Ecole du Louvre and professor at L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels.
