The legendary emeralds of the Muzo valley — April 13, 2016

L'Ecole offers a regularly scheduled program of Evening conversations, from 8pm to 10pm. These evenings give 35 people the chance to learn from and share with two experts on a particular topic.

The next Evening Conversation will be held in Paris on Thursday, April 21 and will be about The legendary emeralds of the Muzo Valley.

The emerald lover is amazed when we pronounce the name of Muzo, legendary valley in Colombia. From the legend to the reality, let’s follow these exceptional gemstones with L’Ecole, from the beating heart of this mine up to the hands of the Place Vendome jewelers.

The Evening Conversation will be hosted by Jacques David, Precious stone dealer for 40 years, and Author of the novel “The gardens of emeralds” (Hugo editions) and by Gislain Aucremanne, Art Historian, graduate from the Ecole du Louvre and professor at L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels.
