L’ÉCOLE invites you to discover the stories behind the world of gemstones through live reading sessions with our experts.
During this session, May El-Hage, Art Historian and Lecturer at L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, will read an excerpt from Ancient Gold Jewelry at the Dallas Museum of Art by Barbara Deppert-Lippitz.
She will explore pieces inspired by Greek mythology, craftsmanship, and iconography, while examining the parallels between mythological narratives and personal adornment. She will also discuss the types of jewelry produced in Classical Greece.
