This year in Hong Kong, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, is proud to present Precious Coral, from Curiosity to Treasures, an exhibition dedicated to one of the most fascinating precious materials in jewelry history.

Kids Experience

"Precious Coral, from Curiosity to Treasures" Cultural Programs

From July 8th to August 16th, visitors are invited to participate in a selection of L'ÉCOLE's activities at K11 Musea Opera Theatre Atrium.

A series of special workshops invites participants of all ages to discover the beauty and significance of precious corals through creative, educational, and interactive activities. Visitors can craft coral-inspired keychains and bookmarks, compete in the Precious Coral Card Game for a chance to win a L’ÉCOLE Gift Certificate, or enjoy storytelling sessions exploring the fascinating world of precious corals.

What am I? A mineral? A plant? Or... an animal? I am called Corallium rubrum, Precious Red Coral, and I have sparked many lively debates in my time! Not only was my classification difficult to determine but to find me, curiosity is required... I am hard to find! One has to dive deep into the depths.

ABOUT L’ÉCOLE

Established in 2012 with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts aims to introduce the public to all aspects of jewelry culture through various activities: courses, workshops, talks, exhibitions, books and podcast.
Activities at L’ÉCOLE cover three main areas: the history of jewelry, the world of gemstones and the savoir-faire of jewelry-making techniques.
L’ÉCOLE now has four permanent addresses: in Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai.
Moreover, since its inception, L'ÉCOLE regularly travels abroad, in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East, for talks, exhibitions or travelling course programs that can last one to three weeks. L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts therefore contributes to the promotion and visibility of jewelry culture on an international scale.
