L'ÉCOLE has traveled to New York, Tokyo and Lyon and opened three permanent campuses in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai.
Established in 2012 with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts aims to introduce the public to all aspects of jewelry culture through various activities: courses, workshops, talks, exhibitions, books and podcast.
Activities at L’ÉCOLE cover three main areas: the history of jewelry, the world of gemstones and the savoir-faire of jewelry-making techniques.
L’ÉCOLE now has four permanent addresses: in Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai. Moreover, since its inception, L'ÉCOLE regularly travels abroad, in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East, for talks, exhibitions or travelling course programs that can last one to three weeks.

Designed by renowned architect Sou Fujimoto, L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific is located at K11 MUSEA, the heart of Hong Kong and the West Kowloon art and design district. The school design showcases a modern identity playing with organic shapes and the natural day light of the campus.
L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific offers year-round courses, talks and exhibitions. L'ÉCOLE’s faculty of teachers is comprised of experts in their fields: master jewelers, stone setters, designers, mock-up makers, jewelry art historians, gemologists and lacquer craftsmen. All of them are experienced professionals, chosen for their enthusiasm, passion and skill in transmitting their knowledge and know-how.
L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts welcomes you in an eighteenth-century mansion on Paris’s Grands Boulevards. Registered as a historic monument, the site includes a large exhibition space and a one-of-a-kind bookstore entirely dedicated to the world of jewelry.

After three successful nomadic editions in Hong Kong, L’ÉCOLE found its second home at K11 MUSEA in the city and officially opened its first permanent school outside Paris in 2019 – L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific.
The school design itself was created by renowned architect Sou Fujimoto, a long-time friend of L’ÉCOLE, who imagined a modern identity for this Asian venue, with organic shapes, playing with natural day light of the site.

With L’ÉCOLE moving into Building 10, the district is enriched with a new must-visit place for all lovers of jewelry.

Japan was the first overseas country L’ÉCOLE visited, with a 14-day program held in 2013. L’ÉCOLE also returned to Tokyo in 2019 at Kyoto University of Art & Design, Gaien Campus in Tokyo. From January 14 to March 13 in 2021, L’ÉCOLE organized "Men's Rings exhibition" at Gallery 3, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT,with the breathtaking collection of men’s rings that belonged to Yves Gastou.

Following a first trip in June 2015, L’ÉCOLE returned to New York City from October 25 to November 9, 2018 with a series of 15 courses, 8 talks and 3 exhibitions that invite the public to immerse themselves in the art of jewelry guided by leading experts.
For this very special event and intensive program, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts took up residence in a beautiful mansion at 2 East 63rd Street.
As part of the event "de Mains en mains", an initiative organized by the Maison Van Cleef & Arpels for young people and the general public, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts goes to Lyon every year since 2021 to offer a full program of talks and introductory courses to the world of jewelry open to all!
L'ÉCOLE also travels to Clermont-Ferrand for the first time in Febrary 2025.
