About the Course
Discover the materials, know-how, and styles that have shaped jewels and ornaments, in both past and present, through a historical and anthropological world tour.
This course is also an opportunity to discover pieces from L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts' Cabinet, such as Baoulé gold beads from a unique technique, or a cameos selection.

You are welcomed by your lecturers, and a refreshment is offered to you before the class starts.
This course is taught by two professors: an art historian, and either a gemologist or a jewelry-making expert.
All necessary equipment is provided on site.
A certificate is given at the end of the class along with a list of recommendations of books, podcasts, websites, museums related to the course attended.
