Between science, history, and symbolism, gemstones reveal their different facets.

Between science, history, and symbolism, gemstones reveal their different facets. L’ÉCOLE invites you to a series of talks to explore their history and their meanings, carried across the world.

The first talk will give pride of place to the diamond, highlighting its unique characteristics, incomparable brilliance, and role in ancient cultures. The most ancient diamonds date all the way back to 3.5 billion years ago. The very origin of the word, “adamas” (“invincible, unconquerable” in Greek), recalls the uniqueness of this gem.

Embark on a journey to discover the diamond with our experts as your guides.
