Introduction to Gemology (2 hrs)

What is a gem? What are its properties? Develop fundamental knowledge to understand gemstones. 

Guided by your lecturers, with gemstones in your hands, take your first steps into the world of minerals. Understand their beauty, their characteristics, and discover their mysteries.  

This course is an initial introduction to gemology and presents notions that are developed in detail during the four-hour course "Discover the Gemstones"; therefore, it is recommended to attend only one of the two courses.  

• You are welcomed by your lecturers, and a refreshment is offered to you before the class starts.
• This course is given by two gemologists.
• All necessary equipment is provided on site.  
• A certificate is given at the end of the class along with a list of recommendations of books, podcasts, websites, museums related to the course attended.
