A gouaché is a painting which guides all craftsmen involved in the creation of a High Jewelry piece – mock-up makers, jewelers, gemologists and stone setters. The gouaché technique consists of representing the three-dimensional volumes of a piece of jewelry on a flat drawing.  

Three elements must be considered in the creation of a gouaché painting: light, color, and finally, the texture. 

In this second course devoted to color on gouaché, experience the designer's gestures while painting both a cabochon and a faceted stone. Discover how color and representation of light enable the designer to reproduce faithfully the shape and tone of stones.
