Celebrate creativity and discovery this summer at L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific with our exclusive Family Month Summer Exhibition Program! During these 4 hours in "Summer Edition: Create Your Jewel", L’ÉCOLE will bring families together to explore the art and history of jewelry through a curated lineup of activities.
Our young participants will enjoy a 2-hour hands-on jewelry workshop where they explore different tools used for jewelry design and design their own pieces. Guided tours on the exhibition: "Designing Jewels: 200 Years of French Savoir-Faire (1770–1970)" will be provided at both L’ÉCOLE and the University Museum and Art Gallery (UMAG), The University of Hong Kong. At UMAG, all participants will enjoy live gouaché painting demonstrations – an essential artistic technique in jewelry design - led by our expert lecturers and even have the chance to try gouaché painting themselves.
They may also test their creativity and coloring skills in the “Little Jewelry Designer Contest”; showcase their artwork on the digital screen with "Project Your Own Drawings"; and participate in the "Collect Your Designing Tools" digital game to redeem a complimentary gift set at L’ÉCOLE.
