L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, officially celebrates its Hong Kong campus’ 5th anniversary. This milestone marks the first permanent school outside of Paris since 2019. Over the past 5 years, L'ÉCOLE has attracted more than 56,000 visitors to various courses, seminars, and 8 exhibitions held at the K11  MUSEA campus. 

As the Hong Kong campus has grown, L'ÉCOLE is also expanding with new campuses opening in Shanghai and Dubai and another location in Paris. Looking ahead to the new year, L'ÉCOLE will aim to further invite visitors to explore the captivating world of jewelry in a broad and multidisciplinary manner, taking a fresh and innovative approach throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Exhibition “Divine Jewels: The Pursuit of Beauty, Selected pieces from Kazumi Arikawa's collection”

April 28 to May  11, 2025, 1pm to 7pm

L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific is unveiling the newly curated exhibition “Divine Jewels: The Pursuit of Beauty, Selected pieces from Kazumi Arikawa's collection” from April 23 to May 11, 2025 at K11 MUSEA campus  in Hong Kong.

The Exhibition features fifteen pieces chosen from the prized Albion Art collection, founded by Kazumi Arikawa, one of the world’s foremost jewelry collectors, and pay tribute to forty years of collecting.

Art Deco Day

L'ÉOLE Asia Pacific invites you to explore and celebrate Art Deco day movement with a special Art Deco Day on April 26th, featuring a sharing on Art Deco Fashion and Jewelry, guided tour of the new exhibition, and engaging and interactive activities to understand how Art Deco has influenced jewelry in particular.  The event is 1 hour per timeslot. Free admission and registration is required. Feel free to wear your Art Deco jewelry that day!

Exhibition "Shakudō: from Samurai Ornaments to Jewelry"

December 11, 2024 to April 13, 2025


For one of the first exhibitions devoted to Shakudō, the latest exhibition highlights the technique, uses and fascinating history of this black metal traditionally used in Japan for the decorative elements of samurai swords.

HKDI Conversation "Dive into the Secrets of Jewelry Design"

L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific has partnered with the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) since 2020 to launch the Scholarship for Academic Excellence. This initiative aims to recognize exceptional students in the Higher Diploma in Jewelry Design and Technology, cultivate a new generation of jewelry artists and designers, and inspire them to delve deeper into the realm of jewelry artistry.

This talk unveiled the origins of high jewelry creations and revealing the creative processes that give life to these exquisite works with Jewelry Designer Pauline Revet and Art Historian Mathilde Berger-Rondouin.

Do you know the biggest diamond found is not the Cullinan? The Sergio diamond, discovered in 1895 in Brazil, surpasses the Cullinan in size, weighing 3,167 carats (649.23 g). Visit the limited presentation “Black Diamonds: Rediscovered Treasures” and explore the story of this infamous gem.
