When microphotography honors nature!
As part of the KYOTOGRAPHIE festival, the School of Jewelry Arts presents a beautiful encounter between gemmology and carpology.
Thierry Ardouin, a French photographer, and member of the "Tendance floue" collective, will highlight his work on photomicrography of seeds in a conversation with Olivier Segura, Asia-Pacific Director at the School of Jewelry Arts, and Billie Hughes, gemmologist, founder of the Lotus Gemology laboratory and inclusion specialist. Through her many photographs, she in turn offers an aesthetic approach to gems and reveals the inner world of precious stones.
