This Live Online Conversation, connecting the 'Designing Jewels' exhibition by HKUMAG and L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts in Hong Kong with the 'Dessins de bijoux' exhibition by the Petit Palais in Paris, invites viewers to examine the multifaceted nature of jewelry drawings through their presentation as an artistic medium.
Florian Knothe, Director and Curator of the University Museum and Art Gallery at the University of Hong Kong, Clara Roca, Curator of the Post-1800 Graphic Arts and Photography Collections at the Petit Palais Museum in Paris and Emmanuelle Amiot, Research Manager at L’ÉCOLE, will delve into issues of scenography, preservation, and the role of jewelry drawings within the creative process.
