About the Workshop
What are the different varieties of gems? Where and how do crystals form? This workshop offers teenagers the opportunity to get an introduction to gemology.
Installed at the gemology workshop, participants use gemologist’s tools to examine colored and ornamental stones. In touching and manipulating the materials, they take their first steps into the mysterious world of gems.
Offering a unique educational experience both authentic and fun, the creative workshops of L'ÉCOLE allow raising awareness on creative professions for young people from 6 to 16 years old. Also, the workshops stimulate their imagination so they can discover new realms of creativity.
Useful to Know
- Open to teenagers from 12 to 16 years old.
- The workshop is led by two gemologists.
- All necessary equipment is provided on site.
