Workshops for young people

The Mock-up, First Sculptural vision of the jewel (12 to 16 years old)

L'ÉCOLE Asia Pacific teenage workshop - The Mock-Up First Sculptural Vision of the Jewel

Initiate teenagers to High Jewelry through the mock-up technique.

About the Workshop

Once the design is finished, the process of creating a jewel begins with a gouaché painted design, depicting its color, shape, and volume in actual size. Then comes the mock-up stage, first interpretation of a jewel in three dimensions.

Seated at the jeweler's workbench, and guided by experts, the teenagers become familiar with the jewelry making professions and learn more about the specific techniques involved in making jewelry mock-ups.

The participants can bring home their tin mock-up inspired by the collections of the Maison Van Cleef & Arpels.

Offering a unique educational experience both authentic and fun, the creative workshops of L'ÉCOLE allow raising awareness on creative professions for young people from 6 to 16 years old. Also, the workshops stimulate their imagination so they can discover new realms of creativity.
