Discover the steps involved in creating a jewel.

About the Course

A piece of jewelry is a collective work which passes through the hands of many experts, calling upon not only their great techniques, but also their emotions, to achieve an exceptional work of art. 

During more than two hours, get a first overview of the wide history of jewelry and the fascinating world of gems and discover the different know-how involved in the creation of a jewel. 

Useful to Know

  • You are welcomed by your lecturers, and a refreshment is offered to you before the class starts.
  • This class is given either by an art historian and a gemologist or by a jeweller and a designer of High Jewelry.
  • All necessary equipment is provided on site.
  • A certificate is given at the end of the class along with a list of recommendations of books, podcasts, websites, museums related to the course attended.
