What is a gem? How is it different from a mineral? Pebbles, gravel, rocks and stones are part of our daily landscapes and surroundings, but do we actually notice them?

Discovering Minerals

Celebrating the new exhibition “Journey with Minerals” at L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific, this bespoke program for both children and adults was specially created as an immersive format pairing an experimenting class, followed by a private exhibition guided tour.

Join this tailor-made experience where you and your kids can put yourselves in the shoes of the scientist and rock collector. Explore real roughs and take part in a detective game to guess their origins and how they are used in daily lives.

Through hands-on activities and experimentation, you'll spend 2 immersive hours studying and learning about the beautiful treasure unearthed from Mother nature, treasures that grace our showcases today!

This course is available for young people aged 8 to 17 years old. Adults accompaniment is recommended for participants aged from 8 to 12 years old.
