Ruby is one of the most prestigious and sought after gemstones in history. What makes these gemstones so unique?
Rubies have fascinated us from the time of their discovery. Their unique andhighly symbolic color has been appreciated through every epoque andculture. According to Burmese myth, they hold within them the fire and blood of the earth. From “ratnaraj” to “ruby”, they are an ongoing symbol of power and strength.
Discover “the king of gemstones” from two perspectives: their scientific aspect by diving into their mineralogical definition, and their historical importance through the symbolism of their legendary color in different periods and cultures.
