For this session, May El-Hage, Art Historian Lecturer at L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, Dubai, will read an excerpt from The Story of the Pearl by Caroline Young.

During the session, she will delve into significant moments in contemporary and popular culture surrounding pearls, while presenting select gems with remarkable provenances. She will also examine the history of pearls, the difference between natural and cultured pearls, and highlight a few legendary pearls.
