L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts is expanding its presence in Asia with the opening of a permanent school in Shanghai. Inaugurated at the beginning of October, during Golden Week, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts China is opening the doors of the Twin Villas, on Middle Huaihai Road, to welcome all jewelry lovers.
Founded in 2012 with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts aims to give the widest possible audience access to the vast and fascinating world of jewelry. Open to all, from beginners and collectors to the simply curious and young people, the school offers a rich program of online and in-person courses and talks, as well as free temporary exhibitions, publications and research projects.
This sharing of knowledge with as many people as possible is accompanied by international expansion. L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts is born in Paris, where it now has two addresses, and organizes nomadic sessions around the world, in Asia, the Middle East and America. A second School opened in fall 2019 in Hong Kong, in the Western Kowloon district, facing the iconic Victoria Habor. In fall 2023, two new Schools will open in Dubai, in the heart of the design district, and in Shanghai, in the Twin Villas on Middle Huaihai Road, the “ Oriental Avenue des Champs Elysées ”.
