Savoir-faire

In the footsteps of Daniel Brush: exploring techniques and materials (2hrs)

DAniel Brush, Poppy Set, detail

Echoing the exhibition "Daniel Brush, the Art of Line and Light", explore the materials and savoir-faire that characterize the practice and work of the New York artist.

About the Workshop

Daniel Brush was an expert in working with materials, precious or not. He managed to sublimate them, thanks to a precise mastery of jewelry techniques.

Led by an art historian and a jeweler, the workshop begins with an introduction to Daniel Brush's work and techniques, continues with a guided tour of the exhibition, and concludes with demonstrations of some metalworking techniques.
