The journey begins as you walk into the historical Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau on Paris’ Grands Boulevards. In the heart of this 18th century mansion, you meet your two guides: a gemologist and an art historian. 

The emerald will reveal its characteristic inclusions — known as “jardins” — and its place in the opulent Mughal courts and European treasures.
