The journey begins as you walk into the historical Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau on Paris’ Grands Boulevards. In the heart of this 18th century mansion, you meet your two guides: a gemologist and an art historian. 

The pearl, a biomineral jewel, will transport you from the depths of the sea to the royal courts, across ancient myths, trade routes, and contemporary cultures.
