Dédale, a new literary series

L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts and Italian publishing house Franco Maria Ricci present Dédale, a new series of literary works, all with ties to the world of jewelry, precious stones and the arts in general.

L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts and Italian publishing house Franco Maria Ricci present Dédale, a new series of literary works born of an unprecedented partnership between the two institutions.

Since 2012, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts pursues a mission of disseminating the culture of jewelry to the widest possible audience, both in France and around the globe. The Italian publishing house Franco Maria Ricci (FMR), created in 1965, was named for its founder, a bibliophile and aesthete passionate about art and literature. Driven by a ceaseless commitment to disseminating enlightenment, the association with L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts for this partnership was inevitable.

The very singular Dédale series features major literary works as well as little-known or obscure texts, all with ties to the world of jewelry, precious stones and the arts in general.

Each volume is a new edition of a literary classic and consists of a foreword by a renowned author, an introduction by an expert at L’ÉCOLE and illustrations carefully selected to fit the singular identity of each work.

The first three volumes launch in May and two new references will be added to the series each year, in spring and fall.
