The exhibition "Stones and Reveries: The Poetry and Minerals of Roger Caillois", conceived in partnership with France's Muséum national d'histoire naturelle, is accompanied by the publication of Pierres anagogiques, copublished by L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts and Éditions Gallimard.
Pierres anagogiques includes a majority of texts rediscovered by Pr. François Farges, curator of the exhibition, in 2023. This book could likely have been Roger Caillois’s last great poetic project.
Pr. François Farges, curator of the exhibition and scientist in charge of the French Museum national d'histoire naturelle’s collections of gems and objets d’art, and Laetitia Gilles-Guéry, gemologist and lecturer at L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts invite you to discover this landmark work, as well as to explore Roger Caillois's mineral collection, between reverie and poetry.
Before attending this encounter, you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition, from 6:30 p.m.; There is no need to book a time slot.
