Encounter of L’Escarboucle on the book "D’or et d’éclat, le bijou à la Renaissance"

In partnership with the French Musée national de la Renaissance – Château d’Écouen, the Fondation Bemberg in Toulouse dedicated in 2025 an exhibition to Renaissance jewelry last summer. On this occasion, a catalog was published by In Fine editions under the title "D’or et d’éclat, le bijou à la Renaissance".

From the materials and techniques used to their political use in European courts, this discussion will highlight the art of adornment during this period.

With Julie Rohou, palaeographer archivist, heritage curator at the Musée national de la Renaissance – Château d’Écouen, and Florent Guérif, Art Historian and Lecturer at L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts.
