An exceptional temporary exhibition looking back at the history of the jewel and the life of a most singular collector

L’ÉCOLE feels particularly honored to have been chosen by Mr. Arikawa, one of the world’s most foremost jewelry collectors, for the exclusive international launch of his book Divine Jewels: The Pursuit of Beauty, an important testimonial to the vision and life of the collector over four decades.

To mark the launch of Divine Jewels: The Pursuit of Beauty, some twenty pieces will be on display for eight days, on September 19-26, 2024, in the main salon of the Hôtel Mercy-Argenteau. Chosen from among the prized pieces of the Albion Art collection, these jewels pay tribute to forty years of collecting and illustrate the different chapters of the book, from portraits of sovereigns engraved on cameos and intaglios to the art of capturing the ephemeral beauty of nature in tiaras, necklaces and other precious ornaments and the mystique of precious stones.
