The "Jewelry Design – Art and Practice" series is an itinerary built around three courses:
- Once upon a time there was Jewelry Design – Duration: 4 hours
- The Gouaché in High Jewelry 1 - The Light – Duration: 3 hours
- The Gouaché in High Jewelry 2 - The Color – Duration: 3 hours
We recommend following the gouaché courses in order: first with "The Gouaché in High Jewelry 1 - The Light", and then with "The Gouaché in High Jewelry 2 - The Color".
Description of the Series
Both artistic and technical, jewelry design is the first step in the jewelry creation process, dating back to the Renaissance. Rendered in pencil, pen, or brush on various surfaces, such as parchment, paper, board, or tracing paper, it will lead to the final jewelry piece.
This series, bringing together theory and practice, leads you to discover the history of this art form and allows you to experience it hands-on, by making your own gouaché drawings, three-dimensional representations of the volumes of a jewel on a flat drawing.
