About the Course
In this second course devoted to the lapidary’s practice, understand the main principles of stone cutting and the importance of proportions.
Step by step guided by two lecturers and installed at the workbench, cut your own stone, create the facets and polish them using a facet cutter.
After the class, bring your faceted stone home.
Prior to this course, it is mandatory to have attended: "The Lapidary’s Art 1 – Discovery: History and Techniques". Otherwise, it is necessary to have a basic knowledge of the tools and techniques of the lapidary’s art.

- You are welcomed by your lecturers before the class starts.
- A welcome refreshment is offered prior to the class and during the break.
- This course is guided by a lapidary and a gemologist.
- All necessary equipment is provided on site.
