About the Series

An itinerary built for you at a special price:

  1. Jewelry and « Grand Feu » Enameling – Duration: 4 hours
  2. Art Nouveau: Astonishing Jewels - From School to Exhibition – Duration: 3 hours

Description of the Discovery Series:

At the dawn of the 20th century, Art Nouveau unleashed an explosion of change, forever breaking all the stylistic codes and rules.

Art Nouveau shook up and forever changed jewelry creation by pushing it towards using different materials, novel shapes and structures, and newly invented or rediscovered techniques.

We will concentrate on « grand feu » enameling, which is the type used in the jewelry arts, and you will experience hands-on, by creating your own enameled piece, with a master enameler guiding you step-by-step.

This itinerary will end with a visit to the exhibition "A New Art. Metamorphoses of Jewelry, 1880 – 1914" in Paris.
