About the Course
Discover the Ruby through the places it is extracted around the world. Alongside two gemologists, learn about the fascinating and specific properties of this mythical gem, as well as the symbolism associated with its red color, which have made it the King of Gemstones.
Installed in the gemology workshop, first learn to observe the color with your naked eye. Then, using the magnifying glass spot, notice its inclusions and its transparencies. Finally discover the phenomenon of fluorescence thanks to the UV lamp.

- You are welcomed by your lecturers before the class starts.
- A welcome refreshment is offered prior to the class and during the break.
- This course is given by two gemologists.
- All necessary equipment is provided on site.
